PLANTS TESTED WITH TOXIC GASES IN OUR LAB
- Trial experiments on phytoremediation of VOC (formaldehyde) by exposing different plants like Vad, Peepal, Gulmohar Bougenvelia, Bamboo, etc.
- in closed plexiglass chamber for 7 days.
- Peepal showed highest tolerance uptill 96 hrs( 4th day).
PHYTOREMEDIATION FOR HEAVY METALS IN SOIL
- Delonix regia (Gulmohar) has been tested for remedaiting heavy metals from soil like Copper(Cu),Lead (Pb),Chromium(Cr), Cadmium(Cd) & Arsenic(As) individually & in combinations.
- Result: 3000ppm of Cu & 30000 ppm of Pb has been successfully
- remediated by Gulmohar plantlets.
